The ceremony witnessed by the athletes, officials and coaches.

The Village Mayor, former player basketball player and two-time Brazilian Olympic medallist Janeth Arcain, and her deputy, former sprinter and 13-time Paralympic medallist Adria dos Santos welcomed the teams with a speech.

A total of 111 Iranian athletes will participate in the Paralympic Games , scheduled for  September  7th to September 18th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
