Sitting Volleyball: Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Gymnasium
The Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Gymnasium will host the sitting volleyball competition at the Aichi–Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games, bringing high-energy Paralympic action to one of Aichi’s key regional sports hubs.
Located in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, the venue sits within the expansive Chuo Sogo Park sports complex, approximately 35 kilometres from Nagoya. Its strategic location provides smooth access from the wider Aichi region while offering a more local, community-focused sporting environment.
The gymnasium is part of a large multi-sport park that includes indoor and outdoor facilities, training spaces and public sports infrastructure. Designed to accommodate a variety of sports events, the venue features a flexible indoor court layout, spectator seating and accessible facilities for athletes and spectators with disabilities.
Okazaki City is known for its strong sporting culture and historical significance within Aichi Prefecture, and the venue has previously hosted regional and national sporting events, making it a fitting stage for international para volleyball competition.
The sitting volleyball competition will take place from 19–23 October 2026.
