Wheelchair Basketball Venue: Aichi International Arena (IG Arena)

Aichi International Arena (IG Arena) is a newly developed multi-purpose indoor venue located in the Meijo Park district of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Opened in July 2025, the arena is one of the country’s newest major sports facilities and will host wheelchair basketball competitions at the Aichi–Nagoya 2026 Games.

Positioned in a central area of Nagoya with direct access to the city’s metro network, the venue provides convenient connectivity for athletes, officials, and spectators. Its urban location also offers easy access to hotels, transport services, and operational support facilities.

The main arena has a seating capacity of approximately 17,000 spectators and includes modern competition infrastructure, athlete areas, training spaces, and integrated operational facilities designed for international sporting events.
