The National Paralympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran has unveiled the name, motto and Honorary Ambassador of its delegation for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games, with NPC Iran President Dr Ghofour Kargari announcing the details at a press conference on Sunday.
Iran NPC, Tehran- Iran’s delegation will carry the name “Devoted to a Strong Iran”, with “In Memory of the Children of Hiroshima, Gaza and Minab” serving as its official motto.
Ana Jahangard, a nine-year-old student and survivor of the attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab, was introduced as the delegation’s Honorary Ambassador.
The fifth edition of the Asian Para Games will take place from 18 to 25 October 2026 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, with Nagoya serving as the host city. Around 4,000 athletes are expected to compete across 18 sports.
