Iran NPC, Tehran- The Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) has
unveiled the mascot design for the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games, inspired
by the Emirati Desert Fox — also known as Rüppell’s Fox (Vulpes Rueppellii), a
native species that thrives in the deserts of the United Arab Emirates.
While the mascot’s name will be revealed at a later stage,
its design reflects the intelligence, agility, and adaptability of the desert
fox — qualities that mirror the spirit and determination of young Para athletes
from across Asia.
The mascot embodies four key symbolic features:
Large ears represent alertness and focus, symbolising the athletes’
ability to stay attentive to every challenge and opportunity.
A bright, confident smile reflects positivity, hope, and the joy of sport —
expressing the unity that connects Asia’s youth.
A prosthetic leg stands as a proud symbol of strength, courage, and
determination, celebrating the resilience and achievements of Para athletes.
Warm desert tones, inspired by the Emirati landscape, signify endurance,
pride, and belonging — grounding the mascot in its cultural and natural
heritage.
Energetic and full of character, the mascot captures the
ambition, courage, and perseverance that define the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para
Games.
