National men’s squad is to prepare for the 2024 IWBF Repechage Tournament from Saturday.
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of six players are to join the sixth round of
national wheelchair basketball training camp in Tehran from March 30,
2024.
Training sessions will be under the
lead of head coach Mohammadreza Dastyar, assisted by coach Behrouz Soltani and
H&C coach Farzad Yazdani until February 5th.
Organized by Iran Sports Federation
for the Enabled in partnership with National Paralympic Committee, the camp
aims at the preparing the squad for the 2024 IWBF Repechage Tournament to
qualify for Paralympic Games.
The shortlisted players for the camp
are as follows:
Hakim Mansouri, Omid Hadi Azhar,
Aboulfazl Jalaei, Hasan Abdi, Mohammad Mohammadnejad, Jalil Gharanjik, Javad
Mansouri and Saeid Heidari.
The 2024 IWBF Repechage Tournament
for Men, will take place in Antibes, France, hosted by the Fédération Française
Handisport, between 12 April – 15 April.
The tournament is the final
qualification event for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
