Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: Men’s Para Judo
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of eight Judokas with a vision impairment
will head into Hangzhou to represent Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games.
The official men’s roster for the
Fourth Asian Para Games reads as follows:
Seyed Meisam Banitaba, Mahdi
Borchlou, Mousa Gholami, Ali Navaei, Saeid Kouhkan, Vahid Nouri, Vahid Jeddi, Omid
Jafari.
Technical Staff
The squad will be conducted by the Head
coach Mohammadreza Haji Yousefzadeh and the Coaches Mohsen Zakaria and Alireza
Amini at the event.
Iranian men, including Meisam Banitaba
(M J1 -60kg), Vahid Jeddi (M J2 -73kg), Vahid Nouri (M J2 +90kg) have recently
topped the podium at the 2023 IBSA Judo World Championships.
All the Asian male and female
medallists from these World Championships are scheduled to appear in Hangzhou,
making for a very exciting three days of competition at the Xiaoshan Linpu
Gymnasium.
