Iran’s national para archers are set to test themselves against the world’s best in Ahmedabad as part of their build-up to the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
Iran NPC, Tehran – Iran’s national para archery team has departed Tehran for India to compete at the Ahmedabad 2026 Hyundai World Archery Para Series, as the Iranian archers continue their preparations on the international stage ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
Iran will be represented by six archers across the compound and recurve divisions.
Amirmohammad Barani, Farzaneh Asgari and Hadi Nouri will compete in compound, while Gholamreza Rahimi, Somayeh Rahimi and Mohaddeseh Babahabib will compete in recurve.
The team will be led by head coach Zahra Nemati, with Amin Alikhani-Nejad and Mohammadsaleh Palizban serving as coaches. Naghmeh Mahdavi is the team manager.
The Ahmedabad 2026 Hyundai World Archery Para Series is scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad, India, bringing together leading para archers from around the world. The event is part of the 2026 World Archery Para Series calendar.
