With Aichi-Nagoya 2026 on the horizon, Iran’s Para Archery team received a visit from Chef de Mission Mohammad Poladgar, who reviewed the squad’s preparations ahead of its upcoming World Series campaign in India.
Iran NPC, Tehran – Iran’s Chef de Mission for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games, Mohammad Poladgar, visited the national Para Archery team’s training camp in Tehran to review the athletes’ preparations ahead of their upcoming international competition.
The visit came as the Iranian team prepares to depart for India to compete in the “the Hyundai World Archery Para Series event in Ahmedabad, India.”
Dr. Mohammad Hassan Pasvar, head of monitoring and evaluation at the National Paralympic Committee, and Ehsan Abbasi, the delegation’s executive manager, accompanied Poladgar during the visit.
During the meeting, Zahra Nemati, three-time Paralympic champion and head coach of Iran’s Para Archery team, briefed the delegation on the team’s training camps and the athletes’ preparations for the upcoming competitions.
Iran’s Para Archery team is scheduled to leave Tehran on 1 September for India, where the athletes will compete in the World Series event as part of their preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
