The 233rd Governing Board meeting of the National Paralympic Committee was held today to review key preparations and upcoming events.
Iran NPC, Tehran- The 233rd Executive Board meeting of the National Paralympic Committee, chaired by President Dr. Ghafour Karegari, reviewed preparations and plans ahead of major upcoming events.
The meeting began with a review of the resolutions from the previous session, followed by a discussion on the preparation camps for the national teams ahead of the Aichi–Nagoya Asian Para Games.
President Dr. Ghafour Karegari emphasized the importance of providing full support to the athletes selected for Aichi–Nagoya and called for careful oversight of all national team training camps.
The Executive Board also reviewed and approved the updated Athlete Support Regulations, further strengthening the framework for assisting and protecting NPC athletes.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Hamid Ali Samimi, Secretary-General, and Dr. Maryam Kazempour, Vice President for Women, of the National Paralympic Committee. Representatives from the Federation of Sports for the Disabled included Dr. Jalil Kouhpayehzadeh, President, and Amir Mandegar-Fard, Inspector.
Other attendees included Dr. Mohammad Hassan Pasvar, Assistant and Advisor to the NPC President; Hamed Mirzahosseini, Treasurer; Executive Board members Mohammad Reza Mazloumi, Mojgan Nasiri, and Roghieh Allah-Karmi; honorary Board member Sareh Javanmardi; Sadegh Beigdeli, Chair of the Athletes’ Commission; and Dr. Rasoul Zabetian, Head of the Presidential Office.
