Team Iran’s Para athletes concluded their campaign at the Islamic Solidarity Games – Riyadh 2025 with five medals across Para athletics and Para powerlifting.
Iran NPC, Tehran- Team Iran delivered a solid showing at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, securing three golds, one silver, and one bronze medal in Para events.
In Para athletics, Yasin Khosravi claimed gold in the shot put, while Hashemiyeh Motaghian added another gold to the tally with a commanding performance in the javelin throw. Zeinab Moradi contributed a silver medal in the same event, and Parastoo Habibi earned bronze in the club throw.
In Para powerlifting, Rouhollah Rostami dominated the Men’s 88kg category to capture Iran’s third gold medal of the Games. Meanwhile, teammate Zahra Aghaei finished fifth in the women’s 73kg, adding another strong result to the delegation’s overall performance.
