The fifth national training camp of Iran Para Archery get underway in Mahallat County.
Iran NPC, Tehran- In an effort to boost sporting performance in
upcoming Paris 2024 and prepare Iranian Para archers for the 17th edition
of the Summer Paralympic Games, Mahallat County in Markazi province hosts a nine-day
national camp from May 22nd.
The camp roster
features 10 athletes including:
Marzieh Tafazoli,
Mohammadreza Arab Ameri, Gholamreza Rahimi, Alisina Manshaezadeh, Zahra Nemati,
Hadi Nouri, Somayeh Rahimi, Farzaneh Asgari, Fatemeh Hemati, Maryam Yavarpour.
The squad is following its training under the lead of head coach Milad Vaziri and coaches Majid Ahmadi and Zahra Shams. Mahdi Shakouri accompanies the team as S&C coach.
Iranian Para archers have secured seven quota slots for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
