Iran NPC President Ghafoor Karegary visited the third round of Para Archery training camp in Tehran, today.

NPC, Tehran: President Karegary paid a visit to the first
round of national Para Archery preparatory camp of Paris 2024, staged by I. R.
Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled (IRISFE) at Ghadir Sport Complex.
Dr. Ghafoor Karegary,
accompanied by NPC President’s Advisor Dr. Pasvar visited the camp equipment and
talked to the athletes, Wednesday on April 17, 2024.
He said: “Iran
NPC is grateful for the cooperation with the National Federations in developing
training camps for preparation to participate in Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.”
“As the Head of
Iran NPC, I have come here firstly, to appreciate the efforts and determination
of you and your coaches, and secondly, to emphasize on our support of you; NPC
will stay by your side, in the road to Paris 2024 and other upcoming events,”
Mr. President added.

A total of 12
Para Archers are training with head coach Milad Vaziri and coaches Majid Ahmadi
and Zahra Shams in the third round of national training sessions –which is running
in Shahriar County of Tehran from April 14 to 24, 2024. The camp roster includes Marzieh Tafazoli, Mohammadreza Arab Ameri,
Asghar Zareeinejad, Gholamreza Rahimi, Alisina Manshaezadeh, Zahra Nemati, Hadi
Nouri, Somayeh Rahimi, Farzaneh Asgari, Fatemeh Hemati, Maryam Yavarpour,
Ramezan Biabani.
Iranian athletes
have secured seven quota slots for the 2024 Paralympic Games.
