The first Paris 2024 quota place For Iran's Paracanoe was achieved by Saeid Hosseinpour, this evening.
Iran NPC, Tehran: Saeid Hosseinpour secured Iran's first Paracanoe spot for 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, in Duisburg, Germany, today on August 25th.
In the Men’s KL1 final of 2023 ICF World Championships, Iranian Paracanoeist Saeid Hosseinpour finished in fifth place with a time of 48.875.
He competed the rivals from China, France, Brazil, Hungary and Portugal to secure his Paralympic quota place.
Team Iran, including three Paracanoeists, are being conducted by Brazilian head coach Pedro Sena and national coach Mohsen Milad at the event, from August 23 to 26, 2023.
