The 18th national judo camp for the athletes with a vision impairment commences in Mazandaran, Iran.

Iran NPC, Tehran- According to the announcement of Iran Sports Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IRISFB), The 18th round of national judo training camp for the athletes with a vision impairment holds in Babolsar, Mazandaran from June 6 to 14, 2023.

During the camping, athletes to improve their skills under supervision of head coach Mohammadreza Haji Yousefzadeh, who is assisted by the coaches Farhad Maabi and Mohsen Zakaria at Shahid Azimi Sport Complex.

 

The athletes who are training at the camp:

Ali Navaei, Seyed Meisam Banitaba, Vahid Nouri, Mahdi Borchlou, Vahid Jeddi, Saeid Kouhkan, Mousa Gholami, Mohammadhossein Babaeian, Alireza Ghorbanzadeh and Shayan Salehi.

Organized by IRISFB with Iran NPC partnership, the camp aims at the para-athletes’ preparations for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.

 

The 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou will be held from 22 to 28 October 2023. A total of 22 sports are set to take place across 19 venues, 17 of which are shared with the Asian Games which will precede the event.

 

Iranian men’s judo squad grabbed two gold, two silver and three bronze medals in the 3rd edition of the Asian Para Games.
