after observing glorious National Paralympic Day Ceremony, Mr. Souei APC CEO met IR Iran NPC Executive Board members to get more familiar with the NPC profile and activities. Mr. Mandegarfard, NPC SG briefed him by a report since three decades including the National Paralympic Day initiative, and the position of the Day in the country. In continuous, Dr. Rakhshani; NPC Vice- President delivered her presentation about women in sport in Iran, then Dr. Barjasteh; NPC Technical Director also explained trend of Paralympic Sports Expansion in Iran and the qualification for Rio 2016. APC CEO announcing his excitement to join the event referred the development of new APC structure for the future and emphasized on the cooperation with Iranian side to promote sports in the Region.
The day not finished since Mr. Souei went to meet IR Iran NOC Secretary General, Mr. Shahnazi.
In his office, Mr. Shanazi welcoming APC representative, underscored to the close relationships between the NPC and NOC. He also offered cooperation of OCA and APC to establish a commission dedicated to Paralympic Sports. Tarek indicated to IRI NPC as a unique model for other countries and called for to exchange experiences to develop Paralympic Sports in Asia.
