Iran’s women’s and men’s national Sitting Volleyball teams will hold their latest training camps in Tehran from 1 September as preparations continue for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
Iran NPC, Tehran – The women’s 14th and men’s 12th national team training camps will run from 1–7 September at the national training Camp of the IRI Sports Federation for the Disabled.
For the men’s team, the invited players are Meisam Haj Babaei, Sadegh Beigdel, Hamidreza Abbasi, Amirreza Mirzaei, Amirhossein Nouri, Mahdi Babadi, Hossein Golestani, Parsa Mohammadi, Mohammad Nemati, Vahid Bailary, Meisam Alipour, Hossein Derikvand, Rasoul Asadi and Morteza Mehrzad.
The training sessions will be overseen by head coach Hadi Rezaei, alongside coaches Farshid Ashouri and Mohammadreza Rahimi.
Strength and conditioning coach Hadi Sajedinia, psychologist Mohammad Hadi Hadizadeh and nutrition expert Mahdi Jafarian will also support the men’s team during the camp. Ali Kashfia will serve as camp manager.
The women’s squad consists of Hadis Rezaei, Fatemeh Jahani, Neda Panjebashi, Zahra Lotfi, Batool Khalilzadeh, Fatemeh Abbasi, Roghieh Shamseddin Saeid, Mehri Fallahi, Sepideh Jamaldoust, Maryam Kalhor, Maryam Nazeri, and Farzaneh Heydari.
The women’s team will train under coaches Maryam Iranmanesh and Azadeh Alaeddin, with Hadi Rezaei serving as technical adviser.
Strength and conditioning coach Zakieh Ehteshamazad and psychologist Farzaneh Rezaei will also accompany the women’s team during the camp.
The camps are part of Iran’s ongoing preparations for the fifth Asian Para Games, Aichi-Nagoya 2026, which will bring together athletes from across Asia in October.
