Iran's Para Taekwondo team has departed for Islamabad, Pakistan, to compete at the (Para Kyorugi) WT President's Cup – Asia 2026, a Grade 3 World Taekwondo event offering valuable world ranking points.
Iran NPC, Tehran – Iran has sent a 17-athlete Para Taekwondo squad to Islamabad, Pakistan, for the (Para Kyorugi) WT President's Cup – Asia 2026. The delegation is accompanied by its coaching staff and team officials.
The Grade 3 World Taekwondo event will be held on Friday (21 Aug.) in Lahore, Pakistan, with Iranian athletes aiming to deliver strong performances and earn valuable world ranking points.
The men's team is coached by Mahdi Ahmadi, assisted by Ali Karimi Saber, while Atefeh Keshavarz leads the women's squad with Shaghayegh Khanjani serving as assistant coach.
The Grade 3 event provides another important opportunity for Iran's Para Taekwondo team to challenge for medals and earn valuable world ranking points.
