Iran added another medal to its tally at the 2026 WSPS World Cup in Novi Sad, Serbia, as Paralympic champion Sareh Javanmardi secured bronze in the Women's P2 – 10m Air Pistol SH1 event.
Iran NPC, Tehran – Iran's Sareh Javanmardi claimed the bronze medal in the Women's P2 – 10m Air Pistol SH1 event at the 2026 WSPS World Cup in Novi Sad, Serbia, on Tuesday (29 July).
Javanmardi advanced to the final after finishing the qualification round with a score of 569. She then recorded 231.0 points in the final to secure third place and the bronze medal.
The gold and silver medals were won by athletes from Uzbekistan and Turkey, respectively.
Earlier in the competition, Iran's Ali Galavi also competed in the P1 – 10m Air Pistol Men's SH1 event. He qualified for the final with a score of 565 and finished sixth in the final.
Iran's P6 Mixed 10m Air Pistol SH1 team, featuring Sareh Javanmardi and Ali Galavi, had previously won the gold medal and set a new world record at the Novi Sad World Cup, securing qualification for the 2026 Asian Para Games in Aichi–Nagoya.
