Dr. Ghafour Karegari will join Paralympic leaders from across the world in Russia on 21–22 May for the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Russian Paralympic Committee, held at the invitation of Pavel Rozhkov.
Iran NPC, Tehran- At the official invitation of Russian NPC President Pavel Rozhkov, Dr. Ghafour Karegari will travel to Russia to take part in the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the Russian Paralympic Committee on 21–22 May, reinforcing growing international cooperation and engagement within the global Paralympic Movement.
The anniversary programme will feature the International Conference on “Development of International Sports Cooperation” alongside the 20th edition of the Russian Paralympic Committee’s prestigious “Return to Life” Awards Ceremony.
The conference is set to gather Paralympic leaders, NPC representatives and international sports officials for high-level discussions focused on expanding global cooperation, advancing support for athletes with disabilities and developing joint initiatives that promote Paralympic values and further strengthen the worldwide Paralympic Movement.
As part of the celebrations, the “Return to Life” Awards Ceremony will recognise outstanding athletes, coaches and technical personnel whose achievements and long-term contributions have played a significant role in the growth and success of the Paralympic Movement in Russia.
During his visit, Dr. Ghafour Karegari is also scheduled to hold a number of official meetings with fellow NPC presidents and senior sports officials aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and exploring future cooperation agreements.
