Six Paralympians nominated for Iran’s 2025 “Champions of Sport” festival.
Iran NPC, Tehran: Six Para athletes have been named among the nominees for the 2025 “Champions of Iran Sport” national festival.
Organised annually by Iran’s Sports TV Channel, the event recognises the country’s top sporting performances and features awards across nine categories, including Best Male Athlete, Best Female Athlete, Rising Star, Best Moment, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, Para Male Athlete of the Year, Para Female Athlete of the Year, and Goal of the Year.
Para Female Athlete of the Year nominees:
Niko Rozbehani, Nasrin Shahi, Elham Salehi, Hajar Safarzadeh
Para Male Athlete of the Year nominees:
Ali Akbar Gharibshahi, Saeid Afroz, Yasin Khosravi, Amirhossein Alipour
Public voting for the 2025 winners will close during the festival’s closing ceremony in the first week of June.
