Iran boccia team continues preparations for Aichi-Nagoya 2026 with ninth training camp.
Iran NPC - The national boccia team will hold its ninth training camp from 6 to 13 May in Zanjan as preparations continue for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
Nine athletes have been selected for the camp:
Paria Piri, Milad Baghaei, Mehran Afrashteh, Zarifeh Ahmadi, Maryam Maleki Fallah, Mousa Raoufian, Hossein Esmaeili, Shahrouz Heidari and Neda Ghayebi.
Saeed Yarmohammadi will lead the camp as head coach, supported by Pari Mardomidan and Seyed Kazem Hosseini as national team coaches. Parisa Khoeini will oversee performance analysis and provide technical support throughout the camp.
The support staff also features Shima Taherkhani as sports psychologist, Zohreh Nakhaei as carer, Mohammad Koohkan and Najmeh Ghayebi as technical assistants, and Farhad Aghamoradi and Marzieh Piri as ramp operators.
The camp forms part of Iran’s ongoing preparation programme for Aichi-Nagoya 2026, with the national team continuing to build consistency, refine technical execution and strengthen competitive readiness through a series of training phases.
The fifth edition of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games will take place in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan, from 18 to 24 October 2026. The Games will bring together athletes from across Asia and will serve as one of the region’s major multi-sport events for high-performance para athletes.
