Iran blind football team opens new training camp ahead of Aichi-Nagoya 2026, today (4 May).
Iran NPC, Tehran- The national blind football team has started the fifteenth training camp as preparations continue for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
The nine-day camp is being held from 4 to 12 May in Sari, Mazandaran Province at the Shahid Beheshti Welfare Complex, where players and staff are continuing their preparations for next year’s continental event.
A total of 13 players have been named in the squad, alongside three goalkeepers.
Outfield players:
Behzad Zad Ali-Asghar, Hossein Rajabpour, Mahdi Talei, Amirhossein Rajabi, Kambiz Mohkam, Ahmadreza Shah Hosseini, Morteza Karimi, Rasoul Baseri, Alireza Bakht, Abdollah Kohanzad, Mohammadreza Moheni-Nasab, Mohammadamin Rahimzadeh and Sadegh Rahimi.
Goalkeepers:
Mohammadsaleh Mirzaei, Saleh Khesali and Mohammadjavad Aghajani
The camp is being overseen by head coach Javad Felfeli, assisted by Meysam Shojaeian, Ali Ghahari and Morteza Ramezani.
This camp is part of Iran’s ongoing preparations for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games, as the team continues to build momentum through a series of training phases.
