Iran's Shooting Para Sport team resume preparation for fifth Asian Para Games

National Para Shooters have started a new round of preparations for Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games in Mazandaran Province, on Sunday.

 

Tehran, Iran NPC – The 9th national training camp for Iran’s Shooting Para Sport Team kicked off today (12 April) in Sari, Mazandaran province, bringing together 17 athletes as preparations intensify for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.

 

The camp, running until 23 April, features the following athletes:

Seyed Mohammadreza Mirshafiei, Faezeh Ahmadi, Ali Golouy, Khadijeh Rostami, Nasrin Shahi, Mostafa Khadem, Mahdi Heyrani, Najmeh Sa’adati Nasab, Rasoul Hajarian, Mohammad Hashem Ezatvar, Zahra Jafari, Mohammadreza Amini, Mobina Moslemi, Mahsa Haji Mohammadi, Masoud Gharib Kheyrabadi, Narjes Nik Sefat, Majid Babaei. 

 

Technical Staff

Training sessions are being led under coach Fattollah Delfani, assisted by zeynab Amini Tabar and Ashraf Rezapour. 

Dr. Hadizadeh also accompanies the team as sports psychologist. 

 

Road to Aichi-Nagoya 2026

Organised by the Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled in collaboration with the National Paralympic Committee, the camp is designed to strengthen the athletes’ performance and readiness ahead of Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

 

The 5th Asian Para Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from October 18–24, 2026, featuring approximately 3,600–4,000 athletes from 45 nations competing in 18 para sports.
