Building an Inclusive Games: Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Volunteers Take Part in Diversity Workshop

Volunteer members of ONE ASIA CREW joined a dynamic Diversity & Inclusion Workshop, strengthening their commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive venues for all.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran - A Diversity & Inclusion Workshop was held for volunteer members of ONE ASIA CREW, reinforcing the commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants and spectators at the upcoming Games.

 

The session featured a powerful talk by Athletes’ Committee member Hiroyuki Misaka, who shared insights on the importance of empathy, understanding, and meaningful support. Through interactive group discussions, volunteers reflected on their roles and explored practical ways to ensure that every venue becomes a space where everyone feels safe, respected, and excited to cheer.

 

The workshop marks another important step in strengthening the spirit of inclusion across all operations. Organizers emphasized that learning will continue as volunteers and stakeholders work together to build a better, more inclusive Games for all.

 

The 5th Asian Para Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from October 18–24, 2026, featuring approximately 3,600–4,000 athletes from 45 nations competing in 18 para sports.
