Iran NPC, Tehran- The fifth Asian Youth Para Games kicked off in Dubai, with Team Iran claiming five medals on the first day of competition.
Iranian athletes, competing across several Para sports, secured a total of three gold and two silver medals. In Para powerlifting, Zahra Pouladi (41kg), Mahdieh Ehsani (45kg), and Amirali Rashidi (49kg) won gold medals for Iran. Silver medals were claimed by Mohammadjavad Nasiri Moghadam (54kg) and Alnaz Motaghian (50kg).
Team Iran wrapped up the opening day with a strong performance, collecting five medals at the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games.
