The final stayed goalless until the dying seconds, with Iran pressing hard and defending resolutely, only to concede a last-moment golden goal to England.
Despite relentless attacks and solid defending, Iran conceded a last-second golden goal, handing England a 1-0 victory.
The journey to the final showcased Iran’s strength and consistency. The team opened the tournament with a 4-0 win over Poland, then played out a goalless draw against England. Iran continued their dominant form with 3-0 wins over India and South Korea, followed by a 1-0 victory over Italy to secure their spot in the final.
Italy claimed third place in the tournament, completing a competitive podium in Kochi.
