Iran NPC, Tehran- In line with the
strategic policies of the National Paralympic Committee of Iran, the NPC
Academy will host an advanced classification training course for general
classifiers on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the NPC Headquarters in Tehran.
The course is
designed to enhance scientific knowledge in the classification process and to
support the development of young, educated, and skilled professionals across
various Paralympic disciplines. Participation is limited to individuals
nominated by their respective national federations, who have already completed
the introductory classification course and whose qualifications have been
formally approved by the NPC Academy's Education Unit.
This advanced
training consists of two components: theoretical and practical.
The theoretical
section will be delivered intensively in a one-day format, featuring three
dedicated workshops that cover essential classification concepts and standards.
Following
successful completion of the theoretical phase, approved participants will
proceed to the practical component, which will take place at the NPC’s
Classification Department. This stage will provide hands-on training under the
guidance of experienced classifiers and subject matter experts.
This initiative
reflects Iran NPC’s continued commitment to promoting scientific development,
standardisation, and capacity-building within the national Paralympic
classification system.
