Iran NPC, Tehran – At the official invitation of the
National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Dr. Ghafoor Kargari, President of
Iran’s National Paralympic Committee, has traveled to Tashkent, the capital of
Uzbekistan, along with an accompanying delegation.
The visit aims to explore the
capacities and infrastructure of Paralympic sports in Uzbekistan. On the first
day of the trip, the Iranian delegation toured several sports facilities in
Tashkent, including the “Olympic City.” They were briefed on the available
sports infrastructure as well as hotels and dormitories currently under
construction.
Dr. Saeid Solgi, Deputy of Elite
Sports, and Hassan Solgi, Director of International Affairs at Iran’s National
Paralympic Committee, are accompanying Dr. Kargari on this visit.
