The Asian Paralympic Committee (AsPC)
has announced the 10 sports that will feature in the upcoming Asian Youth Para
Games set to take place in Dubai, UAE from 7-14 December 2025.
The announcement came days after
Dubai was named the host city after the original host city of Tashkent was
unable to go ahead with staging games, originally scheduled for October.
This is the second time Dubai will
host the Asian Youth Para Games after staging the first edition of the Games in
2017.

Goalball
Para Powerlifting
Para Swimming
Para Taekwondo
Para Table Tennis
Wheelchair Basketball
In a letter sent to the National paralympic Committees, AsPC
CEO Tarek Souei said: “We are delighted to officially announce the sport
programme for the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games which will give a certainty to the athletes and their NPCs in their
preparations. We look forward to welcoming young athletes from across Asia to
Dubai and to celebrating the values of the Paralympic Movement together.”
The previous edition of the Asian
Youth Para Games had staged at the Kingdon of Bahrain with participation of
around 800 athletes from 30 nations competing in nine sports.
