Iran NPC, Tehran:
The first round of Iran’s
national Boccia training and selection camp, aimed at preparing for the
Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games, will be held from May 4 to 11, 2025, in
Tehran with 29 athletes invited to participate.
Athletes invited to
the camp include:
Fatemeh Bahmani, Maryam Maleki-Fallah, Zahra Javadi, Davood Sarbalavand,
Masoumeh Amini, Mehrshad Nikzadfar, Fatemeh Mohammadi, Seyedeh Leila Mousavi,
Hossein Esmaeili, Amir Matini, Farzaneh Delarami, Mostafa Ghasemzadeh, Mousa
Raoufian, Pariya Piri, Milad Aslanpour, Ghasem Pour-Torkdari, Fatemeh Yousefi,
Razieh Kazempour, Neda Ghaebi, Ali-Akbar Daeeian, Mehran Afrashteh, Milad
Riazizadeh, Somayeh Pourghasem, Danial Ahoukhosh, Fatemeh Bou'azar, Seyed
Abolfazl Bagheri, Mehdi Payravand, Milad Baghaei, and Farshid Daghestani.
Training sessions are led
by head coach Saeed Yarmohammadi, supported by assistant coaches Seyed Kazem
Hosseini and Pari Mardemeydan. Parisa Khoeinihaa will serve as the team’s technical
analyst and advisor throughout the camp.
This camp is organized in
collaboration with the I.R. Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with
Disabilities and the Iran National Paralympic Committee, with the goal of
preparing athletes for success at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
The 5th Asian Para Games will take place from October 18 to 24, 2026, across 18 sports in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan.
