On The final day of the Paris 2024
Paralympic Games, Iran’s Ahmad Aminzadeh snatched gold medal in the
men's over 107kg after a magnificent show at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena.
The 33-year-old Powerlifter, on his Paralympic debut,
became the last Paralympic champion with bars validated at 253, 258 and 263 kg.
It was the eighth gold medal of Team
Iran at Paris 2024 and also the first gold medal of the country (in the men's over 107kg) after the loss of the legend Siamand Rahman in 2019.
Iran’s Paralympic delegation won 8
gold, 10 silver and 7 bronze, putting the Islamic Republic in the 14th place in
the medal table of the Paris 2024.
