National Para Athletics has announced a total of 11 PI athletes for the new round of training camps.
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of 11 National athletes with a physical
impairment (PI) are to join the second national Para Athletics camp in their cities on Sunday.
This round of Para Athletics PI preparatory camp is set to
begin on February 11th under the supervision of national coaches including, Seyed
Mahdi Shahrokhi, Ezatollah Parnian, Ebrahim Momeni, Mahdi Mousavi, Abdollah
Jamshidi, Khosro Rahimizadeh, Mahdi Farsi, Fatemeh Barmshouri, Zahra Karamzadeh,
Ardeshir Kazemi and Mohammad Ali Refahiat.
The Shortlisted athletes for the camp are:
Saeid Afrooz, Yasin Khosravi, Rashid Masjedi, Alireza
Mokhtari, Aliasghar Javanmardi, Amanolah Papi, Sadegh Beit Sayah, Hashemiyeh
Motaghian, Elham Salehi, Zeinab Moradi, Hadi Kaeidi
Staged by I. R. Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled
(IRISFE) in partnership with NPC, the camp aims at athletes’ preparation for
Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
The training sessions will be concluded on February 22, 2024.
