Iran NPC, Tehran: Iran’s men won the IBSA Asia-Pacific Goalball Championships
title and secured a Paris 2024 Paralympic Games qualification slot, today in
Hangzhou.
Iranian players defeated
Korean rivals 9-3 in the men’s final match at the Zhejiang Tangqi Goalball
Training Base today, on November 18, 2023.
The squad had previously defeated
Kazakhstan (10-0), Mongolia (11-1), Korea (9-6), Pakistan (10-0) and Thailand
(8-3).
Earlier in
the day, China defeated Thailand in the bronze-medal match.
