Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: National Chess
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of 16 chess players including VI and PI athletes
are to represent Team Iran in Men’s and Women’s events of Hangzhou Asian Para
Games.
The events will be started at Hangzhou
Qi-Yuan (Zhili) Chess Hall, which is located in Hangzhou Olympic and
International Expo Center area of Xiaoshan District, from Monday 23 October
2023.

Men
Hadi Moshirabadi, Amir Rabi, Majid
Bagheri, Mohammadreza Alizadeh, Hamzeh Mosleh Rashtabadi, Alireza
Ghourchibeigi, Abolfazl Kazemian, Amir Kachian and Omid Zakeri.
Women
Leila Zarehzadeh, Samira Aaghaei,
Malihe Safaei, Fatemeh Rahimi, Atefeh Naghavi, Maryam Rahimzadeh and Fatemeh
Bayat.
Technical Staff
The men’s squad will be led by head
coach Aliakbar Hodhodi and Women’s team will be conducted by head coach Shadi
Paridar, assisted by coaches Manijeh Hadad and Behrouz Moradi.
Featuring 22 sports, the Fourth Asian
Para Games will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province of China from October 22
to 28, 2023.
