New round of Iran Para Taekwondo training camp will be launched on August 23rd.

Iran NPC, Tehran: According to I.R. Iran Taekwondo Federation (IRITF) a total of 21 players, including 12 women and 9 men, have called to a 30-day national camp.

The camp has been organized by IRITF, with NPC’s partnership, in Tehran from August 23rd to September 22nd to prepare the Para Taekwondoins for upcoming events.

Women’s team will be conducted by head coach Atefeh Keshavarz, and coaches Zahra Hosseini and Zahra Hajivand.

Men’s team will train with head coach Payam Khanlarkhani, joined by coach Ali Karimi Saber.

 

Women’s invitees:

Maryam Abdollahpour, Mahdieh Sadat Hosseini, Narges Javadi, Roza Ebrahimi, Romina Chamsouraki, Leila Mirzaei, Marzieh Nasrollahi, Aylar Jami, Narges Lak, Zahra Rahimi, Mounes Nouri, Arezoo Ilkhani.

Men's invitees:

Saeid Sadeghianpour, Hamed Haghshenas, Amir Mohammad Haghighat Shenas, Alireza Bakht, Mohammad Taha Hasanpour, Hossein Mirzaei, Amir Joudi, Mahdi Pourrahnama, Amirhossein Alizadeh.

 

The squad has recently finished as the runner-up at the 2023 European Para-Taekwondo Championship in Montargis, France.

Para Taekwondo makes its debut at the Fourth Asian Para Games and Iranian player are to display their best performance at the event in Hangzhou from October 22 to 28, 2023.
