Iran National Paralympic Committee President visits the seventeen round of national para shooting training camp in Tehran.
NPC IRAN- Dr. Ghafoor Karegari, NPC President and Dr. Saeid
Solgi, NPC Sport Manager visited the 17th round of national para shooting
training camp staged by Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with
Disabilities at the Tehran’s Azadi Sport Complex, on Friday (19 May).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.
Karegari commented: “There is clearly a lot of potential for growth of the Para
Shooting in Iran, and I would like to thank our national athletes and coaches
for their efforts during these national camps.”
NPC President said that he was
overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm of the para shooters to chase their goals and
that the NPC shall provide all possible help to them in the road to different
events such as Hangzhou APG and Paris 2024.
National para shooters follow the
last stage of their preparations under the supervision of head coach Hossein
Amiri, and coaches Khadijeh Barmaki and Zeinab Aghaaliakbari until 21 May.
IR Iran’s delegation will leave
Tehran on Sunday to attend in the 2023 WSPS World Cup.
The completions will be
held in Changwon, Korea from 22 – 31 May 2023 and 19 quotas for the Paris 2024
Paralympic Games will be allocated at the event.
