Speaking with the Public
Relation of Iran NPC, Dr. Jalil Kouhpayehzadeh announced that an electronic system
of athlete’s personal health record of Iranian paralympians has been designed
by medical and technology department of Iran National Paralympic Committee to
promote the health care of athletes with disabilities.
“Access to medical profile of para athletes is through a web-based, portal system and in order to benefit from information technologies
a version of the
application has also stablished at the Iran Sports Medicine Federation where
the health condition of the para athletes is screened,” the head of IPA added.
Dr. Kouhpayehzadeh concluded
that the capabilities of this system includes easy access to information at any
time and location, increases interaction between the medical team,
comprehensive reporting and effective management of injuries, flexibility and
interaction with financial, radiology and laboratory information systems.
