Following the Hangzhou PAG preparations, four female para powerlifters have been invited to the new national training camp.
Through the establishment of women’s national
para powerlifting team, there are glimmers of hope for the Iranian females
across the country.
Being hopeful of making a successful debut at the Asian
Para Games, the Iranian female para powerlifters have also shown a keen
interest toward their first asian step.
Four female para powerlifters are gathering at the third round of Hangzhou’s preparation camp in Tehran, organized
by the mutual cooperation of IRI Sports Federation for the Persons with
Disabilities and National Paralympic Committee.
The camp holds from 5 to15
April 2023 under supervision of coaches Saebeh Abbaszadeh and Azadeh Koohdarehei.
