management group of Iran’s sports delegation of Hangzhou Asian Para Games
was held at the NPC headquarters on 25 February 2023.
The meeting opened with the agenda of final review of the status of candidate sports’
disciplines.
By holding the coordination meeting of the candidates' disciplines
for Para Asian Games, which was held with the presence of the NPC President and officials, and the members of the group, the attendees exchanged their views on
sending a qualified delegation to the upcoming edition of the Asian Para Games.
During the
meeting, the related issues to the women's group, athletes with the total Blind impairment and Boccia
players were discussed.
Moreover, it was approved that “the national federations must maintain and complete their long lists for Hangzhou and send it to the NPC Iran until March 25th”.
Concluding the discussions,
it was also decided that “NPC Iran and the national federations to support women,
total Blind athletes and Boccia players in preparation, selection and sending
process of Hangzhou Asian Para Games.”
