I.R. Iran Sports Federation for the Disabled (IRISFD) recalled the para swimmers to attend in the 12th round of national training camp, in Tehran.
Iran senior men's national team training camp starts at the
Tehran's Azadi Complex today, on 25 January 2023, as IRISFD announced.
The ten-day camp aims to follow the
preparation process of the five Iranian para swimmers for the Hangzhou Asian
Para Games.
Trainings sessions are included two
practices per day and the athletes are led by the head coach Alireza Izadi. National
assistant coach Hamid Hasani Sadi and fitness coach Ali Gorzi are also on deck.
Mohammad Hossein Eghbali accompanies the athletes and coaching staff as the team
manager.
The call-up list:
Shahin Izadyar, Sina Zeighaminejad, Reza Javadi, Ali Mahmoudkhani,
Abolfazl Negrestani.
The 4th Asian Para Games will be
held in Hangzhou, China from 22 to 28 October 2023.
The Iranian para swimmers
claimed 8 medals (6 Gold, 1 Silver and Bronze) at the Jakarta 2018 Asian Para
Games.
