The Iranian team unbelievably defeated the Netherlands- reigning champion/title holder- achieving its moment of glory in the final match to clinch the title that was the beginning of a powerful appearance of our team at international, regional, world, and Paralympic stages. Since the 1985 World Championships, Iran has not finished lower than third in any WC competitions.
