A national three-day camp ahead of Para Asian Games launches for Iranian males’ Boccia players at Iran Sports Federation for the Disabled (IRISFD), today.
NPC IRAN- The first round of Iran's men Boccia national preparatory and
selective camps kicks off in Tehran, today on 24 January.
The camp
sees 19 players, 4 coaches and 4 staff until the conclusion day on 27 January.
According to the IRISFD, Iranian males boccia players start a
three-day camp ahead of Hangzhou Para Asian Games under the supervision of Mohammad
Kouhkan, Akbar Baghaei, Vahid Nikfarjam and Morteza Divbad as the technical
staff.
This short-term program aims to provide an opportunity for
training and evaluating as Boccia Iran moves towards making selections of
athletes for the Asian Para Games.
Pandemic-delayed 2022 Asian Para Games are scheduled to take
place between 22 and 28 October, 2023 in Hangzhou, China.
