According to the Asian Paralympic Committee, the 4th Asian Para Games will be held
in Hangzhou this year. Hangzhou has been actively engaging in the work for
impaired people.
Recently, it released the first batch
of municipal impaired people's cultural & sports demonstration centers and
focused on the construction of grass-roots impaired people's cultural &
sports activity centers, with a purpose to make the life of impaired people
more comfortable and securer.

The selected cultural & sports
activity center has barber shop, multi-media function room, reading room and
other basic life service places, with accessible map and voice playback system,
to facilitate impaired people.
There is also a rehabilitation room for the
impaired which is furnished with multiple rehabilitation equipment for impaired
people to provide auxiliary equipment leasing service for impaired people in
need.
Some demonstration points also set up
basketball court, fitness room, training room and other venues for impaired
people where artistic rehearsals and friendly competitions are held to enrich
their life.
