The new round of the national preparation camp for Athletics Squads at Takhti Sports Complex runs under the auspices of the Iran Sports Federation for the Disabled (IRISFD) in Ahvaz.
The IRISFD have announced a 5-para para
athletes roster for training camp, which is running from January 16 to February
19, 2023, at Takhti Sports Complex in Ahvaz.
Comprising 5 athletes and 5 coaching
staff and 2 supporting staff, the camp has been arranged to prepare Iran’s
national teams for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
The camp is led by the head coach
Bahman Rezaei and the coaches Mahdi Shahrokhi, Khosro Rahimizadeh, Mahdi Farsi
and Fatemeh Barmshouri.
The invited athletes are:
Hamed Amiri, Saeid Afrouz, Amanollah
Papi, Hormoz Seydi and Hashemiyeh Motaghian
Pandemic-delayed Asian Para Games are
scheduled to take place between 22 and 28 October in Hangzhou, China.
