IR Iran Taekwondo Federation (IRITF)
holds a national training camp for female Para athletes competing at the Presidents
Cup Seniors G2. The camp has been started from 15 January.
Concluding Iranian Women’s Para
Taekwondo Open Championships, the top athletes picked to evaluate at the new
round of national training camp.
According to the IRITF, the nine Women's players who are called up to the camp, are among those vying at the recent
Open Championships.
The players who are
taking part in the camp:
Maryam Abdollahpour
(under 47 kg), Roza Ebrahimi (under 57 kg), Mahdiyeh Sadat Hosseini (under 52
kg), Romina Chamsouraki (over 65 kg), Leila Mirzaei, Narges Javadi, Sahar
Ghanbari, Marziyeh Nasrollhi and Aylar Haji.
Training sessions are held two
times per day and led by the head coach Atefeh Keshavarz and coach Zahra
Hosseini and it will be continued until the squad’s departure to the
competitions.
The G2 President’s Cup- Europe will
be held at the Green Park Hotel & Convention Center in Istanbul, Turkey,
Feb 4-5, 2023.
