New national training camp has been launched for blind and visually impaired from 22 December 2022 in Tehran.
The camp is offering Iranian para athletes preparations for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
According to the Iran Sports Federation for the Blind, five Iranian para swimmers with visual impairments have currently started the trainings in their hometowns under the supervision of the national head coach Hamid Sharifian and coaches Mohammad Esmaeil Farahbakhsh and Pedram Pourmahmoudian.
The national squad members are:
Mohammad Hosein Karimi, Ahmad Nakhaei, Seyed Mahdi Mirdehghan, Abolfazl Ghasemi and Ali Hasanzadeh
The camp will be concluded on 20 January 2023.
