Committee shares a message of support for persons with disabilities.
“Every year, we hold on the 3 December and
days before, the events that demonstrate respect for persons with disabilities
and public attention to their capabilities. Measures for social protection and
promotion of the integration of persons with disabilities into society are
being implemented.
To highlight the transformational role of
sport in the life of the people with dishabilles, we celebrate the annual event
of Iran National Paralympic Day and Week and try to emphasize on the fact that
despite their limitations, people with different impairments are talented and
extraordinary willpower, courageous.
Every day, we are trying to raise
awareness of society towards the dignity of Persons with Disabilities.
Do not forget that Para Sports’ power. They
enable you to break the barriers and achieve excellence.
Wishing a very successful life to all our
family members of Iranian Paralympic Movement.”
The annual observance of the
International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December aims to promote an
understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights
and well-being of persons with a disability.
The theme this year is “Transformative
solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible
and equitable world “.
