Iran’s national team returned
home following the World Shooting Para Sport (WSPS) Championships with two silver medals and three Paralympic quotas.
It certainly was an exciting event for
Para athlete Nasrin Shahi Samakhoun, who earned her first medal at the World Championships.
The main results achieved by Iran's team are as below:
Abdolreza Tavasolikhah won silver medal at the Men’s Para-Trap final.
Nasrin Shahi snatched a silver at P2 - women's 10m air
pistol SH1 and secured a Paris 2024 quota for Iran.
Seyyed Mohammadreza Mirshafiei secured another quota of the
Paris Games in P4- Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 final match.
Zahra Gholamzadeh secured Iran’s third Paris 2024 berth in
R9 -Mixed 50m Rifle Prone SH2.
Roghayeh Shojaei also ranked eighth in
R2- women's 10m air rifle SH1 finals.
The 2022 WSPS World Championships held at
Al Ain, UAE on November 3-17, 2022.
