Coinciding with the first day of the Iran National Paralympic Week (October 10th), a mutual meeting was held between the Advisor to the Vice President of Social Affairs of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education Mr. Reza Mahmoudi, accompanied the head of Health Charity Department of the Ministry Mrs. Younesi, Iranian NPC officials the NPC headquarter, today.
Being closed to National Paralympic Day (NPD) ceremony on October 16th, Advisor to the President of the NPC, Masoud Ashrafi elaborated background, objectives and outcomes of Iran NPD. Following the discussion, a report on the major implemented activities delivered by executive secretary of NPD, Hossein Shahriari.
Dipping into the curve of the issues, NPC's CEO, Mohammad Tabe emphasized on the related areas between sport and health and pointed that there are many ways for partnership and raising the support for NDP and developing Paralympic Movement across the country.
In order to carry out a more effective cooperation and strengthening common efforts, it was decided to sign an agreement in the next meetings.
It is hoped that the agreement and mutual cooperation, highlighting NPD and raising the supports of the Iranian officials will pave the way for greater promotion of para-sport in the country.
